A 1958 FIRST EDITION, Ninth Printing, this octavo (5.75" x 8.75") has bright yellow cloth-covered boards stamped with a black image of a cat to front cover/black lettering to spine. Very First book in the trilogy featuring the 3 Persever children & their housekeeper, Mrs. Coverlet, with illustrations by Garrett Price. An Ex-Lib copy with the usual stamps & markings & glue from old card pocket to endpapers only, condition is Fair: generally quite clean, with no writing, but small random soil spots. Heavy rubbing to lower extremities with some cloth fraying. Binding is secure & straight, with a tape repair to gutter at title page. The unclipped DJ is Very Good, having been protected under old library mylar, which has been replaced with brand new! Very clean & bright, with minor chipping & wrinkling, but downgraded due to hole in center of back cover.
