A FIRST EDITION, First Printing, from 1946, this octavo (5.75" x 8.25") has deep red cloth-covered boards, stamped with bright gilt lettering & symbol to spine & front. Condition is VG+ : very clean, binding strong & straight, pages off-white & mildly tanned, unmarked save for name in pen to verso of ffep. corners modestly bumped, fading to lower third of spine. the unclipped DJ is Fair, missing that same lower third of spine, with larger chips & unclosed tears & creases both front & back.
