First published in this format in 1931, this is a 1941 printing. Octavo (7" x 9") has burgundy cloth over boards, blind-stamped with title & illustration to front/lettered in gilt to spine. Dark topstain. Condition is VG+: very clean, binding strong & straight, pages off-white with light tanning around edges, unmarked save for former owner's name/address in pencil to ffep. Endpapers show offsetting. Mild rubbing to extremities & slight corner bumping. The unclipped DJ (with orig. $3.00 price intact to front flap) is Good+, with slight loss at both ends of spine, chipping at corners, light soil; nicely protected in new clear mylar cover free!
