Orig. published in 1910, this is a later (post-WWII) Reilly & Lee reprint (c. 1930s) , with the original color plates by John R. Neill now rendered into simple pen-and-ink. In 296 pages, with decorative endpapers, lavishly illustrated throughout. This edition has the later green cloth over boards (but not the much later orange ones), with a brilliantly colored paper pastedown to front cover & black lettering & design to spine (fancy publisher script, not plain). Condition is Near Fine: exceptionally clean & bright with faint foxing to front pastedown only. Binding straight & strong, pages creamy white with mild tanning, unmarked save for old gift inscription to verso of "This book belongs to" box page (box is blank). Corners crisp with very mild bumping & rubbing, same to both ends of spine. The original DJ is present (Good+ condition) & was laminated by original owner, showing light stains & many small chips, but still bright & colorful & it's done a wonderful job of protecting this book! Our photos depict the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same Day Shipping on all orders received Weekdays by 2 pm (Pacific Time); later orders, Weekends, & holidays ship very next business day.
