Orig. published by Hodder & Stoughton in 1910, this is the 1978 First Edition from Weathervane Books (First, thus). In xv + 158196 pages, this quarto (8.75" x 11.25") has deep burgundy faux leather/cloth blindstamped with elaborate decoration & lettering to front/gilt lettering & ruling to spine. Condition is VG+: exceptionally clean & bright, pages white & unmarked save for a random foxed spot, with heavy foxing to all outside edges of text block. Binding strong & straight, hinges secure. All internal illustrations present, bright, & colorful. The unclipped DJ is downgraded to Good due to heavy foxing to upper & lower extremities, 2 teeny unclosed tears to bottom edge of front cover; beautifully protected in new clear mylar cover Free (removed for photo accuracy).
