317 pp. Publisher's original red floral patterned silk over padded boards. In the original printed acetate wrapper. Small puncture to spine cloth with short tear, also affecting acetate wrapper. With 127 extraordinary photographs of actual costumes, including 79 in full colour by fashion photographer Keith Trumbo. A further 200 photographs from the great Hollywood movies and TV shows. Loosely laid in is a small autograph card with a dried rose attached wih string to the card and stating: 'So sorry Blitz is over, had some of the best nights ever there. Much love, Brian Clarke.' The Blitz nightclub in Covent Garden, London, was the centre of the New Romantic movement in the late 1970's and early 80's. Artist Brian Clarke, along with musicians Rusty Egan, Steve Strange, Boy George, Spandau Ballet and numerous others, including many young fashion designers, were regulars at the club. A lovely gift inscription for such a glitzy book. 0810910500
