Re-cased, perhaps 1930s - 1950s, in blue cloth, preserving the original front board and remnants of the title. 39.5cms tall. Frontis and 89 double page maps as called for, together with 8 Mayr's Alpenkarte at the rear. Engraved, and mostly in colour. Rubbing to the binding, especially to leather panel at spine & some wax clinging to edges. Map 23 has some outlining, map 30 and enclosed plates darkened (sprayed to be darker on a film set). Other maps clean and in good condition. This is a heavy item and may require additional postage if being shipped outside of Europe.
