In 3 volumes. xxiv, 474; 521; 507 pp. Contemporary full vellum with brown leather title labels to spines. Bevelled edges. All edges red. Marbled endpapers. Occasional light pencil underlining. Vellum fresh and clean. Text in Latin. Charles Coleridge Mackarness' copy. He was Archdeacon of the East Riding 1898-1916. He was a great-nephew of the poet S. T. Coleridge, and his father was the Bishop of Oxford. He was also a founding member of the Oxford University Assoc. Football Club, and played twice in the F. A. Cup, finally winning in 1874.
