Steel-engraved illustrations includes designs by Richard Dadd, Jean-Leon Gerome and Arthur Hughes. With an extensive biography and appendix (including facsimiles of Shakespeare's known autographs, his will, etc.) at the rear of volume 2. Marks and rubbing to boards and spine on both, including a few larger scratches to leather on rear of volume one and front of volume 2. Light foxing to endpapers and yellowing to page edges but generally internally clean. This is a heavy set and may require additional postage if being shipped outside of Europe.
