255 pp. 4 plates. Bound in green cloth stamped with an illustration and title on both the front and spine, with original illustrated dust jacket. Four plates with black and white illustrations by Frank E. Wiles. Boards are in very good condition with minimal marking and binding is firm. Jacket bears signs of use with tears to the spine and inside flap, and with slight marking to front and back, but is in generally good condition. Price is clipped. Internally clean with slight foxing at page edges and centre fold. Stitching visible at several openings but all pages secure and intact. Gift inscription on the endpaper, dated 1941.
