xii, 564 pp., Burgundy half morocco binding with gilt decorated spine, marbled boards and all edges marbled. Some wear to the extremities and binding firm. Some spotting on the endpapers, otherwise generally clean. The engraving are printed on India paper, and this is a tall copy (text block 27 cms) with broad margins, so this may well be a large paper copy. With the bookplate of the Whig politician John Walbanke Childers, who was MP and later Deputy Lieutenant for Cambridgeshire, listed amongst the subscribers.
