Limited First Edition. xiv, 97 pp. Quarter red cloth with blue and gilt marbled boards and gilt lettering to spine, in original glassine; pages uncut. Glassine is wrinkled and has a few tears but has kept the boards and spine clean. Foxing to early pages and page edges, but otherwise internally clean. No. 146 of 530 limted edition copies. A series of eleven journalistic sketches of tradesmen (tailor, chemist, publican, etc.) taken from the Pall Mall Gazette in 1880.
