With silk endpapers and gilt lined borders, then marbled end pages and original wraps bound in. All edges gilt. Illustrated by Boris Zworykine, with 15 plates throughout and and two extra suites of plates at the rear, one colour, one black and white. Minor edgewear and bumping to the slipcase. No. 33 of 35 copies on japon imprial and one of 775 limited edition copies. A fine copy of Pushkin's most popular play.
