In near fine condition inside and out, clean and bright. Out of series, but one of 100 limited edition copies with an etching frontispiece signed by its artist, A. R. Middleton Todd. A lovely copy of one of the best and most classic Restoration comedies, regarded by many as Congreve's masterpiece, though a commercial failure when it was first performed in 1700.
