No. 159 of 180 copies. Black buckram over paper illustrated boards in cloth slipcase with paper illustrated label, both designed by Ceri Richards. xvi, 169 pp. Two small dents to spine, clean boards and pages, like new internally. Laid paper with black-and-white frontispiece of Dylan Thomas, illustrated title-page and many accompanying drawings arranged around the poems. Slipcase has a few light marks around edges, but is overall clean and presentable. The poems in this volume are taken from Dylan Thomas' 'Collected Poems 1934-52', and the forty reproduced drawings were made by Richards over the space of twenty-four hours in the pages of his first edition copy of Thomas' poetry collection. Richards was a Welsh artist, surrealist and Venice Biennale winner in 1962. His works are displayed in the Tate Britain and in various galleries around the UK. 0905289471
