Red speckled edges; dentelles to outer edges of boards. Small patches of abrasion to boards; joints and extremities slightly rubbed and some minor wear to corners. Light spotting to prelims and the very occasional mark inside, otherwise internally clean. Bookplate of Edmund Ferrers to both volumes. Previous owner's name, 'Isabelle Harries', in ink at title. P. 31/32 of vol. 1 were cancelled as they contained a war poem by Southey which was deemed unpatriotic. With contributions from S. T. Coleridge, Charles Lamb, Charles Lloyd, Amelia Opie. 17 cms tall.
