First edition, [xii], 178 pp. Publisher's original salmon-coloured cloth with gilt decoration to front board & gilt lettering to spine; top edge gilt. Staining to rear board. Minor crease and sunning to spine, with slight spine lean and very slight wear at its tail. Light rubbing and bumping to other extremities and rubbing to lower board. Spotting to edges of text block, endpapers and half title, otherwise clean. Illustrated throughout with Shepard's iconic illustrations.
