First edition, 1 of only 400 copies produced. 53, [2] ads pp. Original paper covers with paper title-label to front and spine, uncut and some unopened leaves. Curling and a few small tears to edges, there isa hint of cracking to the hinge and some discolouration to labels; clean internally. Decorative borders to title and frontis of mermaids waving to ships with a Ulysses quote beneath. Sacheverell Sitwell was the younger sibling of poets and essayists, Osbert and Edith Sitwell, later collaborating with them to produce Edith's 'Facade'. This is a lovely copy of the author's first book, part of the publisher's 'All Adventurers' series, celebrating unknown poets.
