FRENCH TEXT. 201 pp. Original lithograph as frontis and colour and black and white illustrations throughout. Gilt lettered cloth in pictorial jacket with title band. A couple of short closed tears to edges of jacket, with a couple of faint marks to its rear panel. Light marking to bottom edge of front board, otherwise clean. Preface by Jean Chatelain, Director of the Musees de France. The Musee National du Message Biblique Marc Chagall was established in 1973. This work was published as a companion to Chagall's series of the same title and offers his reflections on his biblical inspirations. Near fine book in a VG to NF jacket. This is a heavy item and may require additional postage if being shipped outside of Europe.
