Cream buckram with burgundy leather labels and gilt lettering to spine. A couple of marks to boards, with bumping to darkened spine ends and rubbing to labels. Spine lean to first volume. Bookplate of Julius and Marjorie Bertram. Minor and scattered foxing. 'The Open Window' was a monthly illustrated magazine published in West & Central London, running for six months from October 1910, and then five months from April 1911. Contains Katherine Mansfield's first every publication, as well as works by Edward Thomas, James Stephens, Frank Swinnerton, E. M. Forster, Herbert Trench, Keith Henderson, Maxwell Armfield, W. H. Davies, Lord Dunsany, John Drinkwater, Jack B. Yeats, Claude Shepperton, Norman Wilkinson, Auguste Rodin, Muirhead Bone, Gwen Raverat (as Gwendolen Darwin).
