Unpaginated [101 pp.]. Illuminated manuscript. Bound in full maroon morocco by Sangorski and Sutcliffe, with raised bands, gilt ruling and lettering to spine and front board. Top edge gilt. Light wear at top joints and slight chipping at raised bands. A couple of spots to text, though quite clean. Blundell was a student at the Slade School of Art in the late 1940s. This work begins with two plans of the floors of Hampton Court Palace before declaring the palace to be the most beautiful house in Britain. A unique and impressive book. 28.5cms tall.
