1911 Photo Album Mining Dakota Badlands

1911- 1913, 118 snapshots in this photo album. 7.25"x10.75" alligator leather album in very good condition. Photos of several locations including the Trojan Mining Co. in the Black Hills of South Dakota ----where most of the photos are from. There are some nice occupational portraits also some homesteading photos. A couple photos of a wagon being pushed up a hill and another trying to ford a stream.A few images of what appears to be a vacation cabin in Barron County, WI. and Red Cedar Lake near Chippewa Falls --- including some Native Americans. The photographs show very good compositional skills, and the snapshots by and large clear & sharp.
