Two small, closed tears (1cm and 2cm respectively) on bottom edge of rear jacket panel. Moderate jacket crinkling at top edge of panel, else jacket is Near Fine condition. Copy is straight, bright without stains, previous owner's marks and the binding at spine is intact, unusual for book clubs this age . Collects 19 short stories with new Introduction by Ellison. Re-issued in 1984, this BCE reissue of Ellison's celebrated short story collection originally published in 1975 by Harper & Row. (Revised by Ellison, this Book Club Edition restores missing material to match Ellison's preferred text. Many of the stories had been liberally edited over time causing mistakes and errors to creep into the text.)
