Pages a bit browned. ; This book is part of the 20 shilling series (Inman 24) with 70 tissue-guarded illustrations. The enlarged first edition with more illustrations was published a year earlier in 4 volumes in the 7s 6d series. Plum boards with yellow lettering and decorations in yellow, olive and blue. This is the assumed later printing (not mentioned in Inman) without gilt lettering and top edge gilt, but with year on title page and no subsequent printings mentioned.
