an etching, image measuring 3 3/4 x 5 inches, overall matted 9 3/4 x 11 1/2 inches, by the listed American artist Charles J.A. Wilson, (1880-1965,Scottish American), with artists monograpm in the plate at lower right., pencil title at lower left "South American Clipper" The subject is a Sigorsky V1-44A , of which there were three models. Which one this is I am not certain but if I were to guess I would say "Excambrian." The V1-44A was a four engined "Flying Boat" which carried 40 + passsengers and was built for the Trans Atlantic passenger trade. Size: 9 3/4 x 11 1/2
