NEW JERUSALEM WE REMEMBER

New Brunswick, it was located directly behind Hampstead starting about four miles fom the St. John river. It was a large sprawling community comprising about 75 square miles. The community is now a part of the 427 square mile military training area know as Camp Gagetown which is the largest military training area in the British Commonwealth. The area was expropriated in 1953 and as a result over 650 families were moved out.
