"This is a lovely old book showing wear at the corners and edges of the illustrated boards. The blue cloth spine has been taped, but the hinges are not starting and I believe it was placed there as protection. The beautiful coloured plates by Roy Best are clean and vivid. Blue pictorial endpapers with a closed, taped tear on the rear endpaper, two other small closed tears on margins, not into text or pictures. Penciled name, date and numbers on front endpaper.Text is clean and the pictures are wonderful."
