Extremely scarce as a 1st edition; this copy is in blue boards with silver lettering to spine; a couple of small sellotape marks on cover; fep removed and the half title pagelooks as if it has been glued at spine; title page appears to have had some vigorous rubbing out done on top right hand side, so vigorous at very top the perpatrator (not us I hasten to add) has gone through the paper; on page 63 I spotted a rubber stamp - withdrawn CCL, whatever that is. The book looks as if it has had quite heavy usage - there are occasional marks on pages; Nothing that obscures text, or causes offence, but definite signs of heavyish use; also a little foxing to blocked page foredges. The book comes in a homemade looking facsimile d/w; ; Skelton Hall; 8vo 8" - 9" tall
