Small quarto [8-3/4 inches high by 7 inches wide], light tan paper covered boards backed with light tan cloth & titled in black on the spine. The binding is lightly rubbed. The front edge of the front board is darkened with some darkening to its bottom edge & to the spine. There is a small light stain to the rear board. xvii pages [prelims, introduction & notes] & unnumbered text pages, unopened. Illustrated with 7 pages of facsimiles. Very good. Tailor's comedy was originally published in 1614, printed in London "for Richard Redmer". This edition was prepared by D. F. McKenzie and checked by Arthur Brown and G. R. Proudfoot.
