The notoriously fragile dust jacket is chipped & soiled with a tear to the bottom edge of the rear panel & some light pink dampstaining & rippling to the bottom half of the front panel. Half-title, title, [iii], 199 & [1] pages. The bottom inner corners of the pastedowns are very slightly stained, else the contents are very good. First edition of the author's first book.
