An illustrated newspaper cutting commenting on the book is glued to the front pastedown. There are numerals printed in gilt on the spine suggesting that the book is ex-library. Good. The period covered by the book runs from 1700-1825. Appendix B is a chronological list of children's books published during this timeframe.
