Small oblong quarto [9 inches high by 10-1/2 inches wide], softcover bound in color pictorial wrappers. The wraps are lightly bumped & rubbed with the remnants of a sticker on the front wrap & with a crease to its bottom corner. There is a small area of white staining to the rear wrap. 80 & [4] pages, with the text printed on light gray stock. 1 color illustration & profuse illustrations in black & white. Very good. In his 1974 Oceanfront Project, Christo covered the King's Beach cove in Newport, Rhode Island, with 150,000 square feet of polypropylene fabric floating on the sea, attached to the shore by 42 anchors. This book was published in conjunction with an exhibition organized by the Art Museum of Princeton which documented the project and which was presented at the museum from April 6 to June 29, 1975.The text includes an introduction by Sam Hunter and an interview with Christo by Sally Yard.
