Profuse full-page photographic illustrations. Very good. The text is by Rene Fouque and the photographs by Daniel Boudinet. The text is in French.In the Italian town of Bomarzo, the main atttraction is a garden, the "Bosco dei Monstri" or Park of Monsters, so called after the many larger-than-life sculptures, some sculpted in the bedrock, which inhabit the landscape. The garden was created by Pier Francesco Orsini, [known as Vicino Orsini;1528-1588] in memory of his deceased wife. Dust jacket present.
