The covers are heavily rubbed with some wear to the corners and head and tail of the spine. The gilt titling is mostly faded from the spine. 100 pages plus [4] pages of ads, illustrated with a full-page frontispiece, title vignette, a pictorial headpiece and illustrated ad leaves. There is scattered foxing throughout with a few minor stains. Good. First edition, binding A, with no publisher's monogram on the spine. [Ref: BAL - 21874]. First Edition.
