There is a tear to the tail of its spine. 405 pages. There is offsetting to the pastedowns & endpapers from the dust jacket & the top corner of the front endpaper is clipped. Good. First edition in Dutch.Translated into Dutch by Jan Frits Kliphuis who also translated Sons and Lovers, The Thin Red Line, From Here to Eternity and Mary McCarthy's The Group.The typography is by Ad Werner. The preliminaries, printed in blue & black, are particularly attractive.
