Octavo, softcover bound in pictorial brown & gray wrappers. The binding is rubbed & chipped with the bottom edges of the wraps rippled & the lower 1-1/2 inches of the front wrap detached. 15 & [1] pages. The name & address of the Mosiman Book Shop is stamped on the rear cover. The edges of the first leaf are chipped & the bottom corners of the pages are creased, chipped & darkened. The Mosiman Book Shop stamp is on the last page. Good. The Winter 1937-8 catalog of the Nonesuch Press lists five limited editions: Milton's "Comus", Blake's illustrations for Thornton's "Virgil", Rousseau's "Confessions", "The Writings of Gilbert White of Selborne" and "The Poetry of Richard Barnfield". Laid in is a four-page prospectus for "Two Special Items": "Punch and Judy, reproducing Cruikshank's illustrations and "Anthony Adverse", illustrated by Edward A. Wilson. Also laid in is an order form with a price list, stamped at the top by the Mosiman Book Shop.
