The jacket is foxed & chipped with some light staining. Its spine is darkened with the head torn & the tail chipped. viii & 50 pages. There is light dampstaining to the front edges of the rear blanks & last 4 text pages with very light staining to the top corners from pages 5-42. There is light offsetting from the dust jacket to the endpapers. Good. First edition.The Jameson Raid was a botched raid against the South African Republic carried out by British colonial statesman Leander Starr Jameson and his Company troops and Bechuanaland policemen over the New Year weekend of 1895 96.
