Owner's ink inscription & signature on Vol. 1 front endpaper with stain to flyleaf, light soiling to half-title & page edges slightly darkened; Vol. 2 cracked at p. 464 with tears to paper along front hinge & the rear hinge starting; owner's ink name on Vol. 3 front pastedown with 2 rear pages roughly cut. Good. Vol. 2 was published in 1925, Vols. 1 and III in 1926.The best reference in the field.
