Octavo, softcover. A sheet of paper is folded once to form 4 pages of text, each 8-1/2 inches high by 5-1/2 inches wide. Laid in are 2 plates, one a black-and-white line drawing of a male and female sparrow hawk sitting on a tree stump & a barbed wire fence with a country side view in the background & the other a version of the same picture by Robert Bruce Horsfall in color. The text pages are illustrated in black & white with 8 vignettes & a pictorial band along the top of the 4th page. Near fine. National Audubon Society Leaflet No. 10.
