Octavo, 8-1/2 inches high by 5-5/8 inches wide. Gray cloth titled in black on the front cover and the spine with an illustration in black on the front cover. The covers are slightly rubbed and soiled with wear to the corners and head & tail of the spine. 276 pages, illustrated with 2 photographic plates by Yvette Borup Andrews, including a frontispiece. From the library of Thomas J. Reiss with his bookplate on the front pastedown. The letter "D" followed by the date "9/26" is boldly penned at the top corner of the rear pastedown and there is a tiny paper remnant adhering to the pastedown. Good. Reprint edition published by Blue Ribbon Books and thus likely printed in the 1930's. Established in 1930 by a consortium of publishers (Dodd & Mead, Harcourt & Brace, Harper, and Little Brown), Blue Ribbon Books was a reprint house intended to compete with Grosset & Dunlap.
