Octavo, 7-5/8 inches high by 5-1/8 inches wide. Orange cloth titled in black on the front cover & the spine. The covers are rubbed and soiled with a vertical crease to the spine. The head of the spine is lightly chipped. [vi], 319 pages, illustrated with a frontispiece, 4 full-page plates, and 12 full-page illustrations by J. Allen St. John. One plate is partially detached and the rear endpaper is lacking. The frontispiece is creased with a few small chips to the front edge. A previous owner's name is penned on the front pastedown. Good. First edition, first printing "Published March, 1919" in the middle and "W.F. Hall Printing Company, Chicago" printed at the bottom of the copyright page. First state of the binding, with the publisher's imprint in 3 lines at the foot of the spine. First Edition.
