Small quarto, 10 inches high by 7-1/4 inches wide. Yellow cloth, titled in black on the front cover and the spine with a vignette in black on the front cover, in a color pictorial dust wrapper with the publisher's "HMCo Dolphin Binding" sticker across the bottom of the jacket's spine. There are a couple of tiny tears to the edges of the dust jacket and pinholes to the top inner corners of both the front and rear panels. The author's name has been written in ink on the front panel of the dust jacket. A couple of stickers have been removed from the jacket's rear panel. 47 & [1] pages, with profuse illustrations throughout, including several full-page. A previous owner's Christmas inscription, dated in the year of publication, is penned on the front endpaper. Good.
