This monograph on Swiss architect Mario Botta was published on the occasion of an exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art, which ran from November 20, 1986 to February 10, 1987. The exhibition was the second in the museum's Gerald D. Hines Interests Architecture Program. The text includes an interview with Botta by Stuart Wrede.
