Glen Miller Epstein's copy signed by him on the half-title with an additional dedication to Charles Smith written in pencil on page 14. Glen Miller Epstein (1940-2008) was a student of poetry at the Iowa Writer's Workshop and later began a prolific career as a calligrapher and artist. His work was exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Smithsonian, and traveled to space aboard the NASA spacecraft Galileo.
