On page 9 a diet of green non-starchy vegetables is recommended for eliminating Catarrh. Also included is a carbon copy of a typed letter (2 pages) from a customer to the "Oriellette" Company - "Gentlemen, Enclosed please find cheque for 17/6d and please send me one "Oreillettes" Outfit. In case it may have any effect on the size required the height is 5'10" and age 72. For many years the writer engaged in rifle shooting on the range and at that time was much troubled with wax in the ear. Later went to an ear doctor about singing in the left ear. The doctor advised that he could do nothing about it and that it was advisable to ignore the singing sound [. . .]" Also included is a typed letter on "Oreillettes" letterhead stationery, signed "J Hosking". ; 12mo
