Scarce with the loosely included plate.; 1936 first edition. xv, [1], 308, [8 (advertisements) pages + 1 black-and-white portrait plate (between pages viii and ix) + 20 colour plates + 1 loosely included folding plate "Design for Gondola as explained on Page 256." Maroon cloth boards with gilt panels on spine and front board. Page dimensions: 306 x 227mm. Top page edges dyed red. The colour plates are colour photographic illustrations of decorative cakes. There are also many black-and-white photographic illustrations within the paginated leaves, mostly half-page in size, some full page.
