Paper strengthening to gutter between front free endpaper and following blank leaf in first volume. Offsetting to title page from frontispiece in first volume. A few spots of foxing to prelimary leaves and endpapers. A nice set.; Four volumes in two. Portrait frontispiece + [iv], clxxix, [1], 347; [ii], 528; [ii], 602; [ii], 598 pages. Full brown morocco binding with gilt borders, edges, and dentelles. Gilt decoration to spines. Spine title: "Massinger's Works". Page dimensions: 220 x 136mm. All page edges gilt. Crimson endpapers. The best text of Massinger's works up until the 1976 Clarendon Press edition edited by Philip Edwards and Colin Gibson.
