Father Dominique Ricard (1741-1803) was a French translator, born in Toulouse, he became professor of rhetoric at the college of Auxerre, then private tutor to the son of Jer me-Pelagie Masson de Meslay (president of the Paris Chamber of Accounts from 1768 to 1790), known as the president of Meslay.
