Ownership signature of A.L. Stillwell, Somerville, NJ, 1901. Very good. An early work on the pathology of the stomach, Budd was one of the earlier practitioners to employ the use of the stethoscope for diagnosis and observation. Provenance: A.L. Stillwell [fl. c.1895], Somerville, NJ, was a health inspector.
