Contemporary black cloth, black leather gilt-stamped spine label; extremities worn, rear joint reinforced. Small "hommage de l'editeur" rubberstamp on title. Very good. First edition (a second was issued in 1921). Felix Terrien was Chair of the ophthalmological clinic in Paris. Terrien's marginal degeneration, was named for him, being a form of marginal corneal degeneration. First Edition.
